Day Four - Disney-MGM Studios

Today is the last of the four theme parks on the Disney World property. It's the Disney-MGM Studios and it's supposed to look like 1950s Hollywood. Here's Hollywood Boulevard complete with tall palm trees.

And here's the service station where you rent strollers and wheelchairs.

The centerpiece of this theme park is Mickey's Sorcerer's Hat, like the Tree of LIfe at Animal Kingdom and Cinderella's Castle at the Magic Kingdom.

We enjoyed lunch at Prime Time Cafe. The tables are 50s era formica and the decor looks like a lot of kitchens from that time. The black and white televisions show old sitcoms like "Father Knows Best." The waitresses are bullying. Rules are keep your elbows off the table, put your napkin in your lap, and clean your plate before ordering dessert. The consequences are be dire if you don't.

The weather today is warm, and even at 9 p.m. when the Fastamic laser show started we were sitting in shirt sleeves and sweating. The stadium where they have the show seats thousands. They wouldn't tell me how many because it's a matter of security??? This was our longest day yet. Tomorrow we rest again. Hooray!!
