Our next adventure will be another State Capitol. We’re going to spend a week in the Albany area. We have reservations at Deer Run Campground in Schaghticoke, near Mechanicville, about 30 miles north of Albany. It's on the Hudson River and had a population of 10,000 in 1920, but only 5,000 today.
We took a route to keep us off the Thruway and got into camp about 2 p.m. I did laundry and John ironed. What a team we are!!
