Quick Circle through the Adirondacks

Most of the RVs are leaving today. We paid $10 to stay an extra night and after saying goodbye to our fellow Winnebago-Itasca owners, we left in the car for a day trip into the Adirondacks. We’ve been seeing the beginning of color and falling leaves for the past week and it was a beautiful drive with very little traffic since it’s after Labor Day.

We drove a big circle, going northeast through Old Forge, past innumerable lakes, including Blue Mountain Lake, and back. We stopped at the Adirondack Museum but decided we didn’t have the time to do it justice so we drove on. It was about 6 when we got back into camp.
