I started thinking about dinner when I was getting dressed and was going to take a steak out of the freezer. Freezer – yikes – I had left everything in the freezer in our cottage. So about 7 a.m. I drove back to Chautauqua to retrieve the steak. Gates were wide open and cars parked everywhere.
Our trip today is 350 miles to Flanders, New Jersey. Tomorrow we plan to visit with friends in Pompton Plains.
