Other than our neighbors, we were very disappointed with our campsite. It was right on I-190 and the road noise was uncomfortable. Since it was the most expensive camping we’ve had this whole trip, I asked if we could move to another site. Unfortunately, the roads are gravel and the other site had a lot of traffic with a lot of dust.
Late morning we drove north on I-190 off Grand Island and then south on route 62 to run some errands. We passed a small RV park behind an old motel, Royal Motel and Campground on Route 62 (Niagara Falls Blvd) in North Tonawanda.
We stopped to ask their rates, look at the nice grassy, quiet sites, and decided to move Toby for the second time today. KOA gave us a refund and by mid-afternoon we were set up in our quiet spot.
