Shufflin' Off to Buffalo

John left with Toby at 7:30 a.m. and drove to Northeast, PA for Toby’s foot (stabilizing jack) surgery. I went to the Chautauqua Fitness Center for the last time and then drove to meet him. Toby’s surgery was quick; his jack goes up and down like it should.

From there we drove north to Buffalo, New York. John had made a week’s reservation at a KOA on Grand Island because it was close to Niagara Falls. Grand Island sits in the middle of the Niagara River, northwest of downtown Buffalo and south of the Falls. The river runs north to Lake Ontario.

I started looking at the tourist literature and was surprised at how many things sound interesting in Buffalo. A lot more than Niagara Falls. It’s going to be hard to do it all in a week.
