I decided to do some laundry at the campground since we were going to be home most of the day. There was only 1 washer and and 1 dryer. A hand-written sign on top of the washer said the top needed to be weighted down or it would give an "unbalanced load" signal. Here I am sitting on the washer reading the paper.
Actually, I didn't have to do this. A gentleman came in and showed me a trick on making it work. You wedge two quarters under the lid near the hinges and "voila" it worked. Interesting.
