It’s going to be hot again today, but there is a breeze blowing so not bad in the shade. We went to the office and rented a couple of DVD’s since there is no TV reception here. We picked a site at the highest elevation we could so our phones work. The pool, lake, store and lodge are all down in a valley with no cell service. I’m having a problem with my blogging. John has a Verizon aircard that he uses at home for his Internet access. We both had one when we were traveling before but I gave mine up when we moved into the condo and I had access to cable broadband. When we travel I’m supposed to be able to use his aircard with my computer, too, but I’ve had real problems this trip. My computer doesn’t want to recognize it half the time. I called Verizon and they are going to FedEX overnight a new one to us at our next campground in Weed.
John crawled under the trailer to look at the jack and the wires had been torn loose. We’ve learned that they hang so low we have to be very careful where we go (other than the road). We scraped them on a driveway into a gas station our first day out, but they’ve been fine since then. Don’t know what caused them to separate. John got them connected and it’s working again.
