Today we drove north to Cherry Hill RV Park in College Park, Maryland. They have 300+ spaces and are very popular with Rvers who want to visit Washington, DC. There is a Metro (subway) station close by and a regular bus route runs from the station to Cherry Hill. The park has a presentation every day during the tourist season on how to be a tourist (i.e. sightseeing sessions). I’m sure that cuts down on the million of questions at the front desk. The woman doing the seminars is from Coronado, California. This is her seventh season working here. Even though we won’t be doing much sightseeing we went to the seminar.
For dinner we went to Costco. You can’t beat their $1.50 hot dog and a coke. It was crowded and a couple asked to share our table. We chatted and I asked her if she could recommend an orthopedist. She did and I’ll call Tuesday to ask for an appointment since we will be back here on July 19th with our niece, Natasha.
