Toby Has Foot Problems, too

John had an 8 a.m. appointment for Toby. The left front leveling jack won’t go down and the switch for the electric hot water heater isn’t working. I stayed home and did laundry. John was not happy when he got back. The RV dealer didn’t have a switch for the hot water heater. Winnebago said they will overnight it to us and John can either put it in himself or the RV dealer said he could drive by and they would do it. On the jack problem, we had planned to have the problem diagnosed here and have the parts sent to our next stop. We had made an appointment in Erie, Pennsylvania, which is about 30 miles west of Chautauqua. But after all our preparation, Winnebago said they wouldn’t pay for diagnosis at one RV dealer and repair work at another. And since we are under warranty, Winnebago should pay. So we switched to Plan B and called the RV dealer in Erie and asked if they would diagnose before we go to Chautauqua and repair at our regular appointment on August 15. They agreed. Hooray!! Now we have to be in Erie next Tuesday, August 2, at 1 p.m.
