We chose to worship at First English Lutheran Church in downtown Syracuse. With its red tile roof, it's a little unusual look for this part of the country. I thought the stained glass windows might be Tiffany, but they were made by Haskins Art Glass Factory in Ohio and refurbished in 1996. The building was finished in 1911 and sat on the edge between downtown and a very wealthy residential area. Today many of those residences are businesses and the congregation is very small but active in feeding and clothing the poor.
