North East, PA to Allegany State Park, NY

We've hopped between the states of New York and Pennsylvania several times this trip.

Today we're on our way to Allegany State Park that sits in both states. It's only about 60 miles, but tomorrow we have a "professional tourist" opportunity nearby.

This is the administration building overlooking Red House Lake, Toby in his campsite at Red House Campground, and Red House Lake.

It's a beautiful place. Weather is overcast but there are folks swimming, boating, fishing, biking and hiking. There is a big recreation area around the lake with rental canoes and paddle boats, ball fields and sand volleyball. It would be a fun place to ride bikes since there are paved bike paths everywhere around the lake.
