Another short trip, 140 miles, from Andrews Air Force Base to our Thousand Trails Campground in Hershey, Pennsylvania.
It’s actually in the middle of cornfields between the small towns of Campbelltown and Fontana, 15 miles east of Hershey. It’s definitely one of the prettier campgrounds in the Thousand Trails group. We’ll be here a week and we plan to sit with our feet up and recuperate from our recent whirlwind tourist activities.
John and I were here a few years ago and did the Hershey World tour, and the tour of the town to learn about Milton Hershey. It was fall so the amusement park wasn't open and John has made some noises about going there. We'll see.
