Puritans and Mexican Food

We left Cape Cod at 5 p.m when the museum closed, and took Route 3 up through Plymouth, stopping to see Plymouth Rock and the Mayflower II. It was a beautiful, balmy, and lots of tourists were strolling on the waterfront. It seems strange to me that so many people travel to see a rock, but the symbolism is interesting and if you're in the area, you have to stop.

Dinner was fun. Mexican at Sam Diego's in a converted fire house in downtown Plymouth. Food was good, but the chips were stale.

From Plymouth we drove back to Foxboro, getting home before dark. People are still playing games, cavorting in the pool, and enjoying their campfires.
