Bethlehem Lutheran Church, East Hampton, CT

Bethlehem Lutheran Church is only 4 miles from home in East Hampton, across from the sign that says "village center." Today is Holy Trinity Sunday and the pastor used an apple as a illustration for the children's sermon. She peeled it and used the peel, flesh and core as to illustrate Father, Son, and Holy Spirit as "three yet one".

I spent the afternoon blogging, and then we went back to Bethlehem at 4 p.m. for an organ and trumpet concert. Dinner was at the Lake House Restaurant next to Lake Pocotopaug. (I took lessons on how to pronounce this. It's not easy.) We tried sitting outside on the balcony, but it was too cold and we went inside. It's supposed to storm tonight.
