Jacque and I got home from work about 1 p.m. and John and I drove to his 3:00 appointment with Dr. Reiger. The doctor looked at the x-rays and told John he needed to be on crutches to take the weight off his leg because it looks like a hairline fracture is developing below a bone cyst in his right femur. In order to determine what is in the cyst, he ordered a MRI to be done ASAP. We got one scheduled for tomorrow morning at the hospital.
Then we met Manus and Jacque at Elgin Community College for dinner. They have a culinary arts program and do dinner for the public two nights a week. It was very nice and we let the GPS system take us home. It didn’t go the same route that Jacque uses to go to work, but she takes the more scenic back roads with lots of corn fields.
